XZZX surface code

The planar XZZX surface code uses mixed X and Z checks on square faces, with truncated checks at its open edges. This T1 skeleton implements the distance-three specialization of the open patch in Figure 9 of the primary source. Its grid, boundary supports, and local Hadamard map to a CSS patch are fixed in the constructor and independently tested. Only this finite witness is verified; decoder, operation, and realization facets remain unsurveyed.

Verified formal skeleton

The formal core and displayed claims are provenance-checked. Unlisted facets are not yet surveyed, not negative results.
